d7e9f91b87 infra: disable DEBUG_SLAB 
It leads to misaligned bios which are currently not yet handled by MARS.
TODO: implement unaligend IO and remove this again.

21991f3cf3 logger: fix scarce race on replay EOF 
This led to annoying error messages like checksumming mismatches
or record sequence number mismatches etc.
AFAIK the data integrity was not in danger (since the checks
masked out any potentially harmful actions).
