c79050c108 gcc -dumpversion seems less error prone (tested with 2.95.4 3.0.4 and 3.1)

1ae254811b On the sun all int32 objects have to be aligned on 32 bit boundaries. With 
this patch the asf-files run well on sparc/solaris
