8db718fbf8 Fix DirectFB version check. The old code simply concatenated the 
digits, so 1.0.0 was considered older than 0.9.XY.

40dad6e266 Aggregate multiple small EOSD textures into one large since hundreds of 
texture creates are very slow.
Might cause artefacts with scaled OSD since large textures are not cleared each
time.

3d5fedd66a Patch from Karolina Lindqvist <karolina.lindqvist@kramnet.se> 
"There is a bug in the zoran -vo zr driver, that makes the output garbled
always. It also probably affects the zrmjpeg filter.  This patch takes care of
the problem."

Patch tested and OK. And 10l to me, because this bug probably has existed for a
looong time.

0bdf40e5cc Fixes the format string for the warning message on line 182 (%x 
with long argument, %c with long argument).
Also, font_load_ft calls iconv with int pointers instead of size_t

36c071082a Do not use border for bicubic filter helper texture, since it will cause ATI 
cards to switch to software mode and be unusable. Double texture size to avoid
this causing artefacts.
Note: yuv=6 will not be changed, so it will stay unusable with ATI cards unless
ATI starts supporting this.

35e90f1556 The fix in mp_msg.c avoids a core dump when iconv_open() fails, the other 
just makes it possible to compile if USE_ICONV is undefined.

Patch by Bjorn Sandell (biorn _At_ chalmers _Dot_ se).

patch replaces '()' for the correct '(void)' in function
declarations/prototypes which have no parameters. The '()' syntax tell
thats there is a variable list of arguments, so that the compiler cannot
check this. The extra CFLAG '-Wstrict-declarations' shows those cases.

Comments about a similar patch applied to ffmpeg:

That in C++ these mean the same, but in ANSI C the semantics are
different; function() is an (obsolete) K&R C style forward declaration,
it basically means that the function can have any number and any types
of parameters, effectively completely preventing the compiler from doing
any sort of type checking. -- Erik Slagter

Defining functions with unspecified arguments is allowed but bad.
With arguments unspecified the compiler can't report an error/warning
if the function is called with incorrect arguments. -- Måns Rullgård

3cb89b0765 Added DPI (Print-Resolution) and Pixel-Aspect awareness to vo_jpeg. 
Use -noaspect if you want Square-Px AR for anamorphic content (old behaviour).
Note: Many applications might ignore these settings, but they matter for
print design and video editing (Tested with Photoshop).
