a8580cbcf2 Disable liba52 SSE imdct for x86_64+PIC (e.g. OSX 64 bit) since it will 
not compile for that combination.

6e695dc64f Remove all kind of trailing whitespaces from all MPlayer's files. 
This affects all kind of spaces (' ',^I,^M,^L,...): actually
[:space:] regex character set.

6b52a2e974 Change all occurrences of asm and __asm to __asm__, same as was done for FFmpeg. 
Neither variant is valid C99 syntax, but __asm__ is the most portable variant.

159ef5f70e Drop av_always_inline definition. It is duplicated from libavutil and 
unlikely to make any difference. This reduces the diff to upstream.

03337f15ad Rename always_inline macro to av_always_inline so as not to clash with 
with __attribute__((always_inline)) declarations.
This fixes the build on Mac OS X 10.4.11.

d1dcbd2f87 Remove AltiVec vector declaration compiler compatibility macros. 
The original problem was that FSF and Apple gcc used a different syntax
for vector declarations, i.e. {} vs. (). Nowadays Apple gcc versions support
the standard {} syntax and versions that support {} are available on all
relevant Mac OS X versions. Thus the greater compatibility is no longer
worth cluttering the code with macros.

24af96f8cc There is a check for altivec.h in configure so use the preprocessor directive 
set by configure instead of an OS-specific directive when #including altivec.h.
