aee9749bca Replace separate Win32, XAnim and Real codec directories by one global dir. 
Nowadays MPlayer does not use the codecs from other installed programs.
A runtime setting will soon take over the rare case that binary codecs
should be searched for in non-standard directories.

f64d639d2b Use OS preprocessor checks with '#if defined()' consistently.

4d644f513c Replace preprocessor check for WIN32 with checks for __MINGW32__ and __CYGWIN__. 
This avoids a pointless indirection that only obscures what is really done.

4b141479da Start unifying names of internal preprocessor directives. 
Replace all USE_ prefixes by CONFIG_ prefixes to indicate
options which are configurable.

84157efa5a Clean up the way get_path is handled: Compile get_path.c to an object to link 
against instead of directly #including the C file and replace the many extern
declarations by a proper header file.
