Now it's much cleaner, both 51d.c and the dummy library live together and
are easier to spot and maintain. The build howto probably ought to be moved
there as well. Makefile, docs and MAINTAINERS were updated, as well as
the github CI's build matrix, travis CI's, and coverity checks.
This way the directory structure remains the same as with the real lib and
one can apply the same build options regardless of where the lib is stored,
removing any possible confusion.
These are intended for use by HAProxy developers to ensure any changes
did not affect the 51Degrees implementation. The 51Degrees module can be
enabled and used by using the source in contrib/51d. This will run
without breaking, but will not return any meaningful information.
This is ideal for testing HAProxy core code, and other modules alongside
51Degrees, but should never be used as an actual module as it does
nothing.
The previously documented location doesn't work anymore and must not be
used. Warning for backports, different branches are in use depending on
the version (v3.2.10 for 1.7, v3.2.5 for 1.6).
Both DeviceAtlas and 51Degrees used to put their building instructions
in the README, representing more than 1/3 of it. It's better to let the
README focus on generic stuff and building procedure and move the DD
docs to their own files.
