Tristan 8da0e45382 MINOR: lua: change tune.lua.log.stderr default from 'on' to 'auto'
After making it configurable in previous commit "MINOR: lua: Add flags
to configure logging behaviour", this patch changes the default value
of tune.lua.log.stderr from 'on' (unconditionally forward LUA logs to
stderr) to 'auto' (only forward LUA logs to stderr if logging via a
standard logger is disabled, or none is configured for the current context)

Since this is a change in behaviour, it shouldn't be backported

Tristan 97dacbbb86 MINOR: lua: Add flags to configure logging behaviour
Until now, messages printed from LUA log functions were sent both to
the any logger configured for the current proxy, and additionally to
stderr (in most cases)

This introduces two flags to configure LUA log handling:
- tune.lua.log.loggers to use standard loggers or not
- tune.lua.log.stderr to use stderr, or not, or only conditionally

This addresses github feature request #2316

This can be backported to 2.8 as it doesn't change previous behaviour.

Aurelien DARRAGON 58e36e5b14 MEDIUM: hlua: introduce tune.lua.burst-timeout
The "burst" execution timeout applies to any Lua handler.
If the handler fails to finish or yield before timeout is reached,
handler will be aborted to prevent thread contention, to prevent
traffic from not being served for too long, and ultimately to prevent
the process from crashing because of the watchdog kicking in.

Default value is 1000ms.
Combined with forced-yield default value of 10000 lua instructions, it
should be high enough to prevent any existing script breakage, while
still being able to catch slow lua converters or sample fetches
doing thread contention and risking the process stability.

Setting value to 0 completely bypasses this check. (not recommended but
could be required to restore original behavior if this feature breaks
existing setups somehow...)

No backport needed, although it could be used to prevent watchdog crashes
due to poorly coded (slow/cpu consuming) lua sample fetches/converters.

Willy Tarreau 714f34580e DOC: fix a few remainig cases of "Haproxy" and "HAproxy" in doc and comments
Some of the Lua doc and a few places still used "Haproxy" or "HAproxy".
There was even one "HA proxy". A few of them were in an example of VTest
output, indicating that VTest ought to be fixed as well. No big deal but
better address all the remaining ones so that these inconsistencies stop
spreading around.

Willy Tarreau 9f903af510 MEDIUM: log: slightly refine the output format of alerts/warnings/etc
For about 20 years we've been emitting cryptic messages on warnings and
alerts, that nobody knows how to parse:

  [NOTICE] 126/080118 (3115) : haproxy version is 2.4-dev18-0b7c78-49
  [NOTICE] 126/080118 (3115) : path to executable is ./haproxy
[WARNING] 126/080119 (3115) : Server default/srv1 is DOWN via static/srv1. 0 active and 0 backup servers left. 0 sessions active, 0 requeued, 0 remaining in queue.
[ALERT] 126/080119 (3115) : backend 'default' has no server available!

Hint: the first 3-digit number is the day of year, and the 6 digits
after it represent the time of day in format HHMMSS, then the pid in
parenthesis. These are not quite user-friendly and such cryptic into
are not useful at all.

This patch slightly adjusts the output by performing these minimal changes:
  - removing the date/time, as they were added very early when haproxy
was meant to be used in foreground as a debugging tool, and they're
    provided in more details in logs nowadays ;

  - better aligning the fields by padding the severity tag to 10 chars.
The diag output was renamed to "DIAG" only.

Now the output provides this:

  [NOTICE] (4563) : haproxy version is 2.4-dev18-75a428-51
[NOTICE] (4563) : path to executable is ./haproxy
[WARNING] (4563) : Server default/srv1 is DOWN via static/srv1. 0 active and 0 backup servers left. 0 sessions active, 0 requeued, 0 remaining in queue.
[ALERT] (4563) : backend 'default' has no server available!

The useless space before the colon was kept so as not to confuse any
possible output parser.

The few entries in the doc referring to this format were adjusted to
reflect the new one.

The change was tagged "MEDIUM" as it may have visible consequences on
home-grown monitoring tools, though it is extremely unlikely due to the
limited extent of these changes.

Willy Tarreau d254aa8139 DOC: update few references to the linux* targets and change them to linux-glibc
The INSTALL guide, the Lua doc and the Prometheus exporter's README all
used to reference "linux2628", "linux26" or even "linux". These were all
updated to consistently reflect "linux-glibc" instead. The default options
were updated there as well so that it should build cleanly on most distros.

Willy Tarreau daac1e4c79 DOC: lua: update the links to the config and Lua API
The links were still stuck to version 1.6. Let's update them.

The patch needs to be carefully backported to 1.8 and 1.7 after
editing the respective version (replace 1.9dev with 1.8 or 1.7).
