7c9229e787 doc: use :command: for subcommands in ceph-bluestore-tool manpage 
Older versions of Sphinx, such as the one in CentOS 7, do not render "..
option::" lines correctly if the option contains a hyphen but does not start
with a hyphen. And ceph-bluestore-tool appears to be the only Ceph manpage
affected by this bug.

'--mode MODE'. The mode needs to be specified in octal using the format:
0600.

bed9225607 rbd: add notrim option to rbd map 
Add the notrim option to the rbd map command to avoid
discarding allocated blocks from a fully provisioned image,
and add the description of notrim option to manpage.

When enabled, user programs such as mkfs.xfs will receive -EOPNOTSUPP
if it sends a discard request for an image with this option.

59bdada5d5 mon/OSDMonitor: accept crush_device_class in 'osd new' json input 
If provided, set the OSD device_class at OSD creation time.  This is
simpler than writing a file that the OSD has to read in and use to
set its initial device class, and also avoids a bit of sticky state
at the OSD that will make it keep trying to reset its device class on
startup if it ever gets cleared.

Note that we now ignore json input fields we don't understand, so remove
a test case.

6a57358add rbd: unified way to map images using different drivers 
Instead of "rbd map|unmap|showmapped", "rbd ndb map|unmap|list",
"rbd ggate map|unmap|list" commands, provide:

 rbd device -t krbd|nbd|ggate|... map|unmap|list

which gives interface consistent between drivers.

aea9fa01ae doc: globally change CRUSH ruleset to CRUSH rule 
Since kraken, Ceph enforces a 1:1 correspondence between CRUSH ruleset and
CRUSH rule, so effectively ruleset and rule are the same thing, although
the term "ruleset" still survives - notably in the CRUSH rule itself, where it
effectively denotes the number of the rule.

This commit updates the documentation to more faithfully reflect the current
state of the code.

Define the string 'all' to be a synonym for the wildcard '*'. This
avoids confusion in the event that some auth caps (typically with

An osd is safe to destroy if

- we have osd_stat for it
- osd_stat indicates no pgs stored
- all pgs are known
- no pgs map to it

An osd is ok ot stop if

- no pgs will drop below min_size

b4dbfcc879 rbd-ggate: tool to map images on FreeBSD via GEOM Gate 
rbd-ggate spawns a process responsible for the creation of ggate
device and forwarding I/O requests between the GEOM Gate kernel
subsystem and RADOS.

On FreeBSD it provides functionality similar to rbd-nbd on Linux.

6d5d30f6ed ceph-disk: Add fix subcommand 
This subcommand will fix the SELinux labels and/or file permissions on
ceph data (/var/lib/ceph).

The command is also optimized to run the commands in parallel (per
sub-dir in /var/lib/ceph) and do restorecon and chown at the same time
to take advantage of the caching mechanisms.

a simple bench for read.

This patch add a new subcommand of bench, with an option of --io-type.
Then we can do a simple bench for write or read.

653bc453e3 rbd: add methods to set and get snapshot limits 
Add a subcommand, rbd snap limit set <image> --limit <integer>, to
limit the number of snapshots that may be made of a given image.
To clear, use rbd snap limit clear <image>. Add an omap
key, 'snap_limit' to the RBD header for implementation. Add object
classes to set and query the limit. Older OSDs will ignore the limit.
