cephfs: Add ceph-dokan, providing Windows support In order to expose ceph filesystems to Windows hosts, we propose including ceph-dokan[1][2] in the Ceph tree, while updating it to work with the latest CephFS and Dokany APIs. Dokany is a well maintained project (fork of the original Dokan project), allowing filesystems to be implemented in userspace, even providing a Fuse compatibility layer. One reason for not using the FUSE compatibility layer is that it's only covering the high level API while Ceph is using the low level FUSE API, which among other things is inode centric. Changes made by this patch compared to the upstream ceph-dokan: * support latest stable Dokany API. The upstream version relies on the legacy unmaintained Dokan API * return proper error codes, converting standard errno.h values to NTSTATUS * minor changes to support latest cephfs API * drop duplicated ceph code, no longer needed if we're to include it in tree. This makes it much easier to maintain. * drop redundant permission checks, leaving it up to libcephfs * use ceph argparse helpers * use ceph logging and daemon initialization * fixed unicode handling * switched to ceph coding style * made ceph.conf param optional, using the default path if available * enabled setting file timestamps * append support * configurable timeouts set once per mount * ensure that the error code is always logged * various cleanups (removed unused entry points, checks that have been moved to dokany, simplified conditional statements, unnecessary conversions in the hot path, etc). RGW - Add POSIX Driver This is the MVP for a driver for RGW that operates on top of a POSIX filesystem. It supports get, put, list, copy, multipart, external access via the filesystem itself, and ordered bucket listings via an LRU-based cache. Note that this is currently a Filter, indended to run on top of dbstore. This is because it currently doesn't have any User implementation, so it depends on dbstore's User. Everything else is implemented in POSIXDriver. Once there is a User implementation, this will become a Store, instead of a Filter. Commit messages from bucket listing cache: rgw/posixdriver: recycle lmdb database handles as required While LMDB workflows often do not close/return database handles, ours continually reuses them. This requires us to close each handle (atomically) when a cache entry is recycled. rgw/posixdriver: don't instantiate bucket cache entries from notify events rgw/posixdriver: incorporate lmdb-safe for now The current inclusion is based on https://github.com/Martchus/lmdb-safe, which is actively maintained but currently has some packaging issues the author has agreed to accept fixes for. For now, skip the submodule to save time and remove an external dependency. rgw/posixdriver: fix listing of cached, empty bucket * check lmdb enumeration result in all cases and w/better style * add unit test for enumeration of an empty cached directory rgw/posixdriver: nest lmdbs in a directory under the dbroot path to avoid cleanup issues rgw/posixdriver: refactor for posix integration * Derive BucketCache types as templates on a SAL driver and SAL bucket pair. * Integrate cache fills as callbacks into SAL layer (or mock, for tests) * Renaming and cleanups rgw/posixdriver: add bucket cache implementation and tests Adds free-standing cache of buckets and object names, with bucket names (and listing attributes, upcoming) managed in a hashed set of lmdb databases, which provides ordering and a high-performance listing cache. An framework for notification on new object creation (e.g., outside S3 workflow) is provided, and a Linux implementation using inotify. FindLMDB.cmake taken with attribution and license. rgw/posixdriver: add zpp_bits serialization (FAST) Signed-off-by: Daniel Gryniewicz <dang@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Ali Maredia <amaredia@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Matt Benjamin <mbenjamin@redhat.com>

rgw: setup locks for libopenssl openssl <= 1.02 requires explicit callbacks for locking which libcurl doesn't set. This causes random segmentation faults when openssl uses its global structures across multiple threads. Providing a simple mutex lock/unlock functions as a callback. We determine whether openssl is used for libcurl via curl-config utility which should be installed as a part of our curl development headers package. We also additionally check that the openssl version is < 1.1.0 which alleviates the need for these callbacks. In this patchset we have done the following: - move all curl related global init functionality under rgw::curl namespace since libcurl may need to set up various ssl libraries etc during its init - introduce WITH_CURL_OPENSSL in cmake this checks the backend curl is deployed with using curl-config. Since curl devel is expected to be installed anyway, this binary should be available and can help identify the ssl backend curl was compiled with. - we only setup the locks if beast/civetweb aren't terminated with ssl, since these libraries setup the locks anyway and we want to prevent double initialization of openssl. Also we pass in ~CURL_GLOBAL_SSL making curl not initialize openssl if civetwb/beast is initializing them. Unfortunately this flag is a noop from curl >= 7.57 wherein both the libraries will end up initializing openssl anyway, which might override certain settings like error strings if using openssl < 1.1 https://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/c/threadsafe.html https://www.openssl.org/docs/man1.0.2/crypto/threads.html#DESCRIPTION Fixes: http://tracker.ceph.com/issues/22951 Signed-off-by: Abhishek Lekshmanan <abhishek@suse.com> Signed-off-by: Jesse Williamson <jwilliamson@suse.com>

cmake: link against ZLIB if statically linked agasint Boost Boost::iostreams links against zlib. and FindBoost.cmake does not add this linkage to Boost::iostreams target, let's do this after `find_package(Boost...)`. in theory, it'd be better to have this change in FindBoost.cmake, but it's error-prone, and increases the risk of regression when we sync our own copy of FindBoost.cmake with CMake upstream. ../../build.deps/mingw/boost/lib/libboost_iostreams.a(zlib.o):zlib.cpp:(.text+0xf7): undefined reference to `crc32' ../../build.deps/mingw/boost/lib/libboost_iostreams.a(zlib.o):zlib.cpp:(.text+0x165): undefined reference to `deflateReset'../../build.deps/mingw/boost/lib/libboost_iostreams.a(zlib.o):zlib.cpp:(.text+0x185): undefined reference to `inflateEnd' ../../build.deps/mingw/boost/lib/libboost_iostreams.a(zlib.o):zlib.cpp:(.text+0x1a1): undefined reference to `inflateReset'../../build.deps/mingw/boost/lib/libboost_iostreams.a(zlib.o):zlib.cpp:(.text+0x1b3): undefined reference to `deflateEnd' ../../build.deps/mingw/boost/lib/libboost_iostreams.a(zlib.o):zlib.cpp:(.text+0x38d): undefined reference to `inflateInit2_' ../../build.deps/mingw/boost/lib/libboost_iostreams.a(zlib.o):zlib.cpp:(.text+0x3d5): undefined reference to `deflateInit2_' ../../build.deps/mingw/boost/lib/libboost_iostreams.a(zlib.o):zlib.cpp:(.text+0x134): undefined reference to `deflate' ../../build.deps/mingw/boost/lib/libboost_iostreams.a(zlib.o):zlib.cpp:(.text+0x144): undefined reference to `inflate' collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status src/CMakeFiles/ceph-common.dir/build.make:441: recipe for target 'bin/libceph-common.dll' failed Signed-off-by: Kefu Chai <kchai@redhat.com>
