1002389056 Create a set_format_params function that sets all the special options needed 
for XvMC/VDPAU acceleration in a single place.
This should get closer to working with selecting acceleration via pix_fmt instead
of via a special codec for each method.

0248741426 Handle mpcodecs_get_image returning NULL, FFmpeg most of the time handles 
it correctly (VDPAU and probably H.264 currently don't, MPEG1/2 does etc.).

186e5a998c Merge svn changes up to r28641 
Convert vo_x11_border (used in vo_gl/gl2 though the vo_gl_border
macro) to use a wrapper macro in old-style VOs which do not provide a
VO object argument. Before this function had an explicit global_vo
argument in vo_gl/gl2. New vo_vdpau uses it too so use the same
mechanism as most other functions.

8e5edec13e Set avctx->opaque already at init instead of decode so it can be used in 
get_format and get_buffer would not crash if called during avcodec_open.

5d21955bb1 Unset MP_IMGFLAG_IN_USE in release_buffer. 
This is only needed for MPI_IMGTYPE_NUMBERED support and will probably
first be used for VDPAU, but it is still "the right thing to do".

1538fddada Remove local copy of xvmc_render.h, it is now an installed header in FFmpeg. 
Also adapt MPlayer to definition name changes in libavcodec/xvmc.h.

9bcd12fdf5 Merge svn changes up to r28310 
The libdvdread4 and libdvdnav directories, which are externals in the
svn repository, are at least for now not included in any form. I added
configure checks to automatically disable internal libdvdread and
libdvdnav if the corresponding directories are not present; if they're
added manually then things work the same as in svn.

923f67082e Fix compilation after libavcodec major version 52 changes 
Some symbols were dropped or renamed, requiring corresponding changes
in MPlayer.
 - Use AVCodecContext->bits_per_coded_sample instead of ->bits_per_sample.
 - Use AVCodecContext->trellis instead of ->flags&CODEC_FLAG_TRELLIS_QUANT.
 - Don't set AVCodecContext->rtp_mode (already marked unused before).
 - Use ff_eval2() instead of ff_eval().

31db39d8ec Make video decoder description structs const 
This makes the per-decoder struct vd_functions and its ->info
struct constants. Same for the mpcodecs_vd_drivers[] table of
pointers to those structs.

cb3c29effe Revert part of commit r22170. 
FFmpeg lavcodecs version is still 
(or according to ffmpeg commit r7868, it's back to)
49.3.0, so global variables are not yet directly accessable (if ever).
