The number of pixel formats outgrew the number of available bits in
the bitmask used in avcodec_find_best_pix_fmt().
avcodec_find_best_pix_fmt2() uses a PIX_FMT_NONE terminated list
of pixel formats instead.
It's never been touched or used in any way since it was added in 2003
and only works for PIX_FMT_PAL8, which makes me conclude that nobody's
ever used it.
It is pretty hopeless that other considerable projects will adopt
libavutil alone in other projects. Projects that need small footprint
are better off with more specialized libraries such as gnulib or rather
just copy the necessary parts that they need. With this in mind, nobody
is helped by having libavutil and libavcore split. In order to ease
maintenance inside and around FFmpeg and to reduce confusion where to
put common code, avcore's functionality is merged (back) to avutil.

The new implementation is more compact, more correct and doesn't hurt
the eyes.

Also replace the term "nb_channels" with "nb_components" which is more
consistent with the FFmpeg internal terminology, and is somehow
different with respect to the current definition of nb_channels in
PixFmtInfo.
